We at WNY Bikes are a local community bicycle group that hosts over 80 events from May through September 2024. We are made up of all Volunteers who have a passion for giving back to our communities while riding our bikes. I (Shanne Liszewski) started WNY Bikes in April 2022 with the vision of being a central hub for information for all bike rides and groups in WNY as well as hosting a Thursday bike ride in West Seneca. In 2023 due to the amazing success and others offering to support & assist, we’ve been able to add group bike rides on Tuesdays & Sundays, long-distance rides, and mountain biking for beginners among other special events and collaborations. We have been doing this with most funds coming from myself and a few raffles that we’ve hosted.
In 2024 we have over 2100+ https://www.facebook.com/groups/wnybikes. We have over 80 events planned, with 8 volunteer members dedicated to running the group and rides. Our community rides are 10 miles at 10-12MPH and are open to anyone and everyone who wants to join! Our long-distance rides are 20-100 mile rides at 14-16MPH, and our mountain biking events are all over WNY at over 200 miles of mountain bike trails.

All sponsorship tiers (with the exception of the $250 tier) all come with your logo being printed (in blue) on the back of our WNY Bikes ride shirts (given to riders for free to promote bicycle safety and visibility while riding). These shirts from previous years can be seen at events hosted by WNY Bikes and many other bike groups and shops.
