offering a 24/7/365 mental health hotline response for the first time. In the decades that followed, what began as Suicide Prevention and Crisis Services, Inc., grew into a multi-disciplinary, comprehensive crisis response center that remains the only one of its kind today in Erie County, NY.

The SPCA Serving Erie County continues to grow and carry out our mission thanks to loyal, dedicated people. People who know the love and affection of a pet. People who care about homeless animals. People who will not tolerate animal abuse and cruelty.

RMHC of WNY is part of a global network of Ronald McDonald Houses and programs that serve nearly 6,000,000 children and families annually. Since 1974, our network of local chapters have been making children happier and healthier by keeping families together and giving them a place to rest and heal. 

WNY Women's Foundation creates a culture of possibility for women in our community through advocacy, investments, and strategic initiatives. We strive for short- and long-term impact within our strategic focus areas of women's leadership and women's economic empowerment

Our mission is to provide bicycles to WNY people and/or families who wish to work, but lack basic transportation. Biking and our hometown have been good to us, so we’ve decided to pay it forward by providing bikes and helmets to Buffalo's newest residents.
